Description
NarieFah said to herself, "maybe three days before the Orcs show up here, and if a Dragon Archer left from the western boarder, also three days. But that doesn't include time for the Great Eagle friend to fly there and find a Dragon Archer. I have no idea how long that will take, so I must be prepared to face the Orcs alone for a time."
As she watched the Great Eagle fly away she whispered, "Please fly quickly my friend!"
NarieFah is again alone in this wilderness that was once a place where Elves and Dragons met as friends. The Tower was built for that purpose but it is now destroyed, burnt by the Red Dragons and this territory has returned to being empty wilderness.

We will also leave NarieFah for a few chapters and follow the Great Eagle to the western boarder where it will meet up with a Dragon Archer named Caleya. Camera position and angle give the image an extra boost of drama. I like how the angle of the eagle bisects the horizon angle. So now you entice us with knowing that she will have to deal with the Orcs on her own for at least some period of time. Perhaps the element of surprise will be on her side.
