Description
The Moire ( Parche in Latin)(Fates) , Cloto Lachesi and Atropo, was the personification of the inescapable destiny. Their job was to weave the thread of fate of every man, do it and finally sever it and mark their death.

Stephen King dà una bella interpretazione di questo mito nel suo romanzo Insomnia. MI hanno sempre affascinato le Moire, Atropo in particolare, ci penso spesso (!). Intrigante il concetto del filo che viene tagliato.
