Description
Captured back on 10/3/07, early in the morn, about one quarter of a mile from my hallowed habitat.
To be more specific, a canna lily, not to be confused with a calla lily.
Arrivederci.

This certainly is a lovely and colorful capture, Harry.
Beautiful flowers.
I love these flowers... Outstanding colors also !!!
Wow! What a beautifully freckled and fresh blossom! I love this variety, and you got a perfect shot here. Well done!
supernatural flower !!!
beautiful flower and colors
Beautiful.. Looks stunning with the light filtering through the flower there. Excellent shot mate. Rob
another beauty from your archives, which you've treated very sensually. The crop brings us right into it, smack dab in the middle (ie, from the cut-off at the top, which brings us into everything that's below). And it's filled with shadows, making those reddish splotches turn a deep inner orange. All kinds of caverns inside there. And the bright yellows are like butter, or pure sunlight. You bokeh'd the background, so the flower would be the star. A real burst---it's beautiful. What you're doing with these old pics is marvelous: They've become calls for you to use all your artistic sensibilities to draw out their inner life and light, and also to completely transform them. Love what you're doing with these. And btw, you wrote, "To be more specific, a canna lily, not to be confused with a calla lily": Don't worry---with my embarrassing knowledge of flowers, I wouldn't have known either variety! Beautiful burst of an image.
