Description
Help, somebody! What's the ID on this esoteric beauty?
Captured back on 5/3/07, inside the Pavilion of Wings, a temporary adjunct to the beautiful Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History in Los Angeles, California.
This looks like the hybrid of a hibiscus and crocus, a gorgeous species of flower that MrsRatbag just posted on her gallery.
Toodles.

Not sure, might be a lily of some sort, beautiful flower.
I love this flower... Marvelous capture and POV!!!
What a beauty, Harry! My guess would be a hibiscus, or possibly a mallow, as it looks like this is a bush or tree. Great capture!
surely a flower of friendship !!! wonderful gift !!!
Its a Clematis, though I may have spelt that incorrectly lol Now, I'm bound to be wrong, great shot. Rob
