Description
For lack of proper terminology, I don't know what else to call it, captured 1/21/15, early morning, at the Southern California Edison substation, about 1.25 miles from my abode.
Original on top, just for the record.
Have a nice Valentine's Day.

here too the first variation (2nd photo) fits very well to my expectations ... the third is a bit surreal (at Walt Disney !!!) !!!
Amazing and fantastic manipulations mys friend !
This is a case where the variations really add some grace to an ordinary scene; beautifully worked, Harry!
The third one is my favorite in the series here.
I don't know what to call it either, but it sure is a heavy-duty urban sight. I like the original, not only for the sparse beams and ganglia of transformers, etc, but for the lonely feel of it, like there's nothing else beyond those walls. Somehow you captured this to look like it was an island in the middle of an urban desert. With bits of pink on the horizon---very moody. The 2d one is an intense darkened affair, with the feeling of electrical currents running up and down the base beams. And you've whited out the sky and added grain---edging on the apocalyptic. The 3d and 4th look like they use the same basic filtering, only in increasing amounts, where the 1st is an electrical park putting on a show of currents and energies (nice lit-up lines in the floor and lower levels). And the second is the same, but in deep night, where it's all rendered into a stained glass pastiche. Fine work, Harry. And the last is a Las Vegas variation, lit up for miles around, and a halo around it in the sky. (In the previous variation, the sky is like stained glass; here, it's deep black, with a halo.) Very creative, and I like the original by itself. You caught the electrical spirit of these crazy spindly urban-desert monsters.
I think you got it about covered name wise mate, I've got no idea either Cool shot Rob
