Description
Aurora - The Roman goddess of the dawn
I've been away from my picture archives for the last week dog sitting for my friends Dennis and Taoli while they were in Hawaii celebrating their anniversary.
This is Aurora. She is part husky and part eating machine. She is eleven years old, with one blue and one brown eye, arthritis in her left hip and is the sweetest dog I have ever known.

What a beautiful dog, just right for a quick hug from me, tell Aurora that ... I would have loved to seen a full frontal of her face, there is nothing wrong with her profile, which is perfect for a Husky - but two different coloured eyes sound amazing - maybe there will be a follow up pic of that, please, please ! you will probably miss her, when the owners are back home again ... good on you for dog-sitting Mark ! I was just looking at this picture when I saw your comments. Sorry this took so long but here is a front image of Aurora. I was looking at this page because this morning she has to be put to sleep.
You did this so well, all the details in the white preserved. Such a lovely looking lady!
This is a beautiful portrait pic of your lovely friend Mark.
It's a fabulous picture and a beautiful dog also !!!
She is a cutie Mark. I think that she and Amira would get along quite well I bet that she thinks she is a lap dog and no one in their right mind would say otherwise Wonderful profile
She is beautiful, and you made a great portrait of her, Mark!
