Description
In the Tiger Begonia leaves.
Made by a friend of mine at college, Susan Goodriche. I did order a maiden to go with him, but she never materialised.
I expect some of you will remember the song "Poof, sorry, Puff, the Magic Dragon"

Thanks for the chuckle! I can only imagine what type of fire or smoke that this one would emit! Wonderful stature and great capture with this gay dragon, what type of 'maiden' were you going to get?
hihi
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Great photo, fun sculpture!
'... lives by the sea...' I hope that Jackie Paper still visits though. Thank you for stirring my childhood memories!
You crack me me up! - LOL!
Awesome and he fits the image of that song, lol.....:)))
Very good
Love him, I remember the song from being a child always on Childrens favourites :o))))
LOL Thanks for the humor Andrea. What a beautiful looking statue, he sure is a "Happy" looking fellow.
I don't know the song, but I like this cute dragon and your beautiful photo-Begonia's, Andrea.
Funny capture Andrea :)
It is quite a poser! The begonias give it's true size, so those fingers are very dainty! A great fun image and title!
Funny find, bravo.
For some reason I'm imagining his voice to be like Ed Wynne, "thort of a thilly lisping gravel"...I love it!
very good shot
On the plus side, if he had met the maiden he would probably exchanged style tips with her jnstead of eating her. A wonderful and whimsical work of art.
Gee, this looks like one of my old friends. I can just hear him now: "Oh, no, Mary! You can't wear THOSE shoes. No way, No how." This is fantastic. It also kind of reminds me of Charles Nelson Riley.I wouldn't have put a maiden with this one, either. Very funny. Love it.
I have to catch up, but I have to say that this looks like one of Corey's old friends, probably the one who said (long ago,) "Gurl, don't spend yo money on that, it's low end." My friends on the other hand were...well...lets just say that Gomez Adams was probably more of a fashion icon than he should have been. Oh, and Corey's right, I can only see this photo in Charles Nelson Riley's tone of voice.
He fits in well among the Begonia leaves.
