Very elegant! Those huge poppy heads grown in the garden I bet!
What a pretty picture Andrea. Wonderful display on the shelf and awesome reflections in the mirror !
Beautiful things on your mantlepiece.
I like the stuff on the mantle as well as that mirror Very nice
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
I like the arrangement of porcelain on the mantle. You've got such a good eye for how things should be! I like the asymmetry and the varied heights. What a beautiful display!
Some nice bit's of Satsuma and Blue and White.
Please eave me that ginger jar when you are done with it. This is a lovely collection and display but the mirror and its reflections really make the scene.
beautiful !!
so lovely
Beautiful mantle capture!
Lovely colors and nice porcelains.
I know this room! It's lovely in this view!
A delightful collection of Asian porcelain - very colorful - the mirror's reflection also ads so much to this photo.
I've had several interruptions since coming here, and it riles me no end. I only did 7 comments (incl this) in an hour. Sorry! I'll end with this, because of, again, your design sense, your still-life sense, etc. The display is beautiful, I agree with the above, esp tara. Your contrasts of (mostly) asiatic styles is wonderful. I say "mostly" because there's one cup which could be European---I don't know. And the mirror and the angle of the shot tie it all together. And your angle allows a room corner to come into view, with ample shadow and blazing light. And an owl---beautifully located between the flowers of a vase---who seems to be the 'eye' looking into all this. Beautifully done. Do you know that I've tried indoor shooting a million times, and I've not done one shot worth sneezing at? They're all dreck. So believe me, I appreciate these shots. I'll be back for more soon. Another wonderful session, Andrea. (Ok, you wanna hear an Asiatic joke---not racist, don't worry---since you have Asiatic vases here? Mrs. Buddha says to Buddha: "You just gonna sit AROUND all day???")
