Yesterday i thought " strange, normally they are a couple... maybe one perished, or there is a new goose on the block." But in the evening i heard the male shouting around for a long time, so, i went on the look out and landed till late in the night watching the female trying to get a little 'fur bol' on to the edge of the pond... he was fallen in the water and it's below 0 C" at night over here, so, i feared he wouldn't survive.... Tried to catch him with a fish net with no result, i saw him an half our later climbing on a skewed ledge with his last energy, taking a warm and dry place under his mom :o) It's been a beautiful sunny day today, far to warm for the time of the year so he regained a little energy... maybe enough to survive another few cold freezing nights...
