Description
The basic trunk evolved into three separate sections as it developed into a tree.
Captured 1/29/15, I don't remember where in the neighborhood.
Have a nice day.

Those three trunks certainly are massive, Harry.

Fantastic cature my friend !!!
How cool is this? Super shot, Harry, lots of fun detail in that bark. And you know sort of where it was by that nicely framed address showing! Excellent shot!
Looks good if you zoom, super details. Good shot Rob
Great that Denise noticed the street address---that's a great little "easter egg" in the shot. Another fine shot of tree trunks and bark from you, this one in clear 3's, yet they all are clearly siblings. Triplets, actually (in that they have the same traits as each other). Nicely composed, with an equal amount of ground both in the foreground and background (your eye composes upon sight). And nice cropping, with the massive trunks dominating, while the clean sweep of street and yard juts in to give it space, un-cloister-ize it. (Don't look that word up---I just made it up.) And of course fine textures on the tree. And I love the dead leaves and branches in the crevice between the trees. And that street address back there---it's just great, quietly attracting us while this massive tree just dominates the shot. Fine work. And this was the end of January this year? Man, I'll never know how you get all that heat when we were in minus 15 to 30 below windchills. Something wrong with the whole system...
