I knew it!! Warm brass it is thanks for the color post. Love the old time character of this.
I remember the shops as a child all had these old fashioned "National" cash registers.
Thank you Tara, I like this as well.
I really like the warmth of this. I think I like this most.
Ask and ye shall receive. You have brought out the art in this old machine. Its a wonderful image.
Awesome capture of this beautiful antique!
Very beautiful machine. love the warm colour thanks
So Cool!!
Wow - this is even more beautiful, Tara! I really like the B&W one, but the color version is definitely my favorite of the pair. The color of the brass is so wonderfully warm! I just want to reach out and run my fingers over the filigree... Just stunning!
I'm generally biased in favor of color over b&w & I think I prefer this one too. Aside from the warm brass tones, there's a lot more detail that has emerged from the shadows as well...
Oh, golden glow; this is gorgeous!!
wonderful color
So rich, and so beautiful...
well, everybody likes the color over the black and white! I understand. I have to say, though, that I like the black and white better, for the feeling, the mystery and sense of passed or lost time...But the color brings out the beauty of the register more, and your gold and red tones make it quite warm. (The key outlines are warmer too.) I can see why people prefer it...They're both beautiful in any case, and I like when you show two versions of one shot. It's a loving image either way.
Just as beautiful in colour. Superb capture Tara. God bless.
I prefer this one colored.
Ah the good old days.. I used a similar one when I worked in shop many moons ago! Very many lol Nice one! rob
