Excellent.
Very nice capture Andrea.
I cannot wait for the summer!
Great conversation pieces!
They all have a compartment in the sun, one has even taken her coat off! A superb shot both as the cropped and whole image!
What a fabulous art deco building. I can just imagine Miss Marple and Hecule Poirot investigating a body found floating in the shark tank. Looking at your crop one could easily assume the humans were part of the exhibit.
I especially like the selective colour version.
I just love this what a great idea.
Awesome capture, love it!
It's a lovely architectural style; great candid shot and excellent postwork!
A beautiful building and I love the turtle parts in the alcoves!
when I first saw this, I thought "at last, someone ELSE is posting photos which, in zoom, are larger than most living rooms...") I really like this, and the black and white flickr version is equally exciting to me. The breaking of the facade into those little 'compartments', with people sitting in each one, is marvelous; and your crop here brings that out as the key element. The last four compartments, from the left, would have caught warhol's eye, for the variation within sameness. And the mix in the left-most compartment---the section without an arch---balances it all, esp with some people walking out of frame, and that guy looking for something in the other side...Fine street shot, it's really well done, formally and expressively. (That last sentence sounds so hackneyed, and I write so many of them I sometimes want to say, "Mark, shut the f___ up!" But I meant it. It's formally pleasing, I mean the formal lines, repetitions, etc; and it's expressive as well. The black and white is in the right hue for that shot; and I love how the curve of the building kind of frames the whole thing. Both of these are a lot of fun.)
