Description

The last remnants of the sandstorm shrouded the setting sun over the Sumala caverns. Rondar had already taken care of his mount and placed it in the shelter of the cavern. He had retreated to this place just outside the Queens lair to watch the arrival of the other troopers. The eight legged queen of the Arachna people had called them, like Rondar too, for standing guard at the queens lair as the time of reproduction was near. In those days of egg deposition the Arachnaqueen was most vulnerable and therefore had sent for help. Those coming to guard the queen did this gladly as each of them would get one of the eggs as reward and thus could raise a tame and well accustomed arachnia, which would produce its valuable silken strands for his benefit alone...
