Description
I quite like the look of this breed, some people in my opinion over present these dogs coats, they should be shown clean & tidy but some over trim. This dog looks I think as they should be. But there again I haven't a clue about the breed, just know which I like the look of.
As one would expect from his Irish origin, the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier has a happy-go-lucky outlook. Extrovert and exuberant, he thrives on human companionship, loves children and is willing to go anywhere at any time. He requires a little patience to train, but is eager to please. His coat needs a lot of care but is worth the effort. It is described as the colour of ripening wheat, soft and silky, and suits his jaunty approach to life. A sturdy dog, who is hardy and unexaggerated in any way, he makes an excellent house pet. - See more at: http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk
