Description
A common duck with a short neck and huge broad bill. This bird is designed for dabbling! The male has a green head but could not be confused with a mallard drake.

Not with that big square shovel on the front end he can't...wonderful shot of this unusual fellow! We have them here, but like most of our waterfowl they stay out away from good view unless you have a really long lens!
