Nice work. I love the dreamy quality and the depth in the image.
Im familiar with this image, and St.Jerome..noted for his hatred of women..LOL..nice illustration in the classic style.
i got it :) - Jerome was credited with translating the Bible from Greek and Hebrew into the Vulgate, Latin, the vulgar language of the people.

Bravo, Cheryl! Your work is excellent and your attention to detail is fantastic!
I really love this. Such marvellous perspective, I envy you. The subject is also very good! Wonderful detail in the image.
Once again, as always, your love for the sketch inspires me. I wish that I could produce and be inspired as you are. Maybe one day. Again, thank you for the inspiration.
I'll have to check out the image, but the sketch is very nicely done indeed...
I have to check the image too.. but it doesn't affect anyway what I think of this one :) Your style by now is so personal that I would reckon it even among ten thousands' others :) Very detailed.. very original in the expression and inspiration.. classy, thoughtful.. I love it :) You are evolving dear :) and it's a pleasure to see your progresses :) Hugs always sweet woman :)
St.Jerome was a misogynist? That explains the lack of women in this artwork LOL. There is a huge amount of detail here. Time well spent!
