Very nice capture Merry Christmas to you and yours
What a beautiful place, and excellent PW!
A beautiful tree and an impressive Wells Fargo & Co Express building - either a well kept building of a fantastic replica. Claude - wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas plus a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!
Great scenic ambiance of the general store and surrounding foliage, plus, please send some of that wet stuff down our way.
This looks like a really lovely and expensive Christmas card; what a beautiful shot and postwork!!
Marvelous capture!
Happy Holidays to you and Arlene and the kitties! :) I hope you're having a wonderful holiday season. This is a great picture, and I like your postwork ... especially around the tree branches. Nice!
as others have said, it has a picture postcard feeling, but in the best sense. (As opposed to those "Hi! We're in Wyoming---Wish you were HERE!" type of postcards.) Your postwork has brought out edges, even doubled them; and this old western type of facade (the Well Fargo Express) is done in your usual intense light/shadow fashion. Reds and sepias predominate, the sepias actually "age" it, and your choice to use a whited-out sky---albeit with the markings of a print or watercolor paper---makes the scene even more picture postcard-ish. Fine work, Claude. And I hope your holiday was sweet in all ways, for you and all you love.
Very beautiful and I like what you did to the photo :)
