Description
Every dark cloud has a silver lining.
Captured 12/17/14, mid day, right outside of my congenial condominium complex.
Incidentally, this current series of post storm cloud photos were taken by aiming in the general direction of the scene with my point-and-shoot camera, hoping for the best, because the LCD monitor which is used to compose an image was completely washed out by the sunlight, revealing nothing but my grayed out reflection. So, all of these cloud shots are the result of pure blind luck.

I've always felt that even when circumstance interferes with our eye, our eye is still working in the background if even in snippets. (Can't prove it, of course, but I feel it.) So I could suggest that this used more of your inner eye than you could think about at the time. What hits me about this is the 'plasticity' of those low dark clouds hovering right over the trees! I mean it's like the clouds are 2 feet away from the trees---the trees are pressed right up against the clouds. And then the clouds billow upwards into those wonderful lit-up puffs. It's a crazy shot, a big crazy sighting, but I love it and the combination of the trees with clouds. Love this shot. Shows how wild clouds really are...they really do play magic with our sight.
