splendid variations I like the last below very much !!!
beautiful pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!! the last I find the most beautiful, Gives the car a sense of speed.!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great manipulations... Outstanding result !!!
Harry, all I can say is the variations you created tonight for this image blew me away!
Dad what fun you must have creating these variations. The 4th image is my favorite too.
My poor car looks like this too often this fall and early winter. I love the editing you've done with this image too. The last one is very cool! Nice done!
Ooh, now this is one set where the variations beat the original for me...I love the first variation, the "swirlies" work really well on it! I'm also quite fond of the high-key effect on the next one. The last one looks a bit like you got hold of a fractalius filter...very cool indeed! Well done, Harry
with dave, these variations knocked me out too. And thank you for the mention, Harry, but your high key work is all your own, and that panel (3) is terrific. I like how you whited-it out to where it's almost an outline of a car; and in any case it's a very graphic representation, like a lithograph. Your graphic sensibilities are very strong---you know, that I assume (as we've seen from your mixed media pieces). So when you do these almost lithographic studies, you make very intricate, intense images. I like the original a lot for those "stripes" of falling condensation. And also your angle, making counterpoint with the wall and sidewalk. I really like the lines of the piece. The second variation is a creepy crawly almost-Van-Gogh affair, probably the ultimate car owner's nightmare-fulfilled. Strong contrasts too---whites against darker hues. The third, of course, is a lithograph or etching. And the last---I don' t know WHAT happened there, lol, but it looks like a star fell on top of the car, splashing all over the ground. The thing's swimming in spilled light. (And the wall back there is a locomotive moving away a break-neck speed.) Love it. Terrific set! I see the license place, I'll call the owner and tell him his car is having a reeeeeealllllly bad day, and he better come and pick it up...(That morning condensation must be a result of your climate---even in summer we don't get that on cars except once in a rare while.)
