Description

We have spent the last two weeks tearing apart our bathrooms. We installed new mirrored medicine cabinets, vanities and new sink tops. While out and about today, collecting paint samples, we found a sand carving of Santa and one of his helpers. It is about 7 feet tall (2.1 meters). I know that I am early for a Christmas postings but I am looking forward to Christmas this year. We also heard a rumor that there was a 35 foot (about 10.7 meters) sand carved Christmas tree somewhere in Palm Beach, Florida. I'll be out looking for that in the next few days. It will zoom. Photo taken today. It looks like Santa is getting a tan in the bright Florida sunshine. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

A very cool sand sculpture, Dana & this photo of it would make a great wacky Christmas card. I remember the year we moved to California, way back in 1972, we sent out Christmas cards that featured a Santa with dark sunglasses reflecting a bright sun, with palm trees in the background - this reminded me of those...

Just like us here 'Down Under', we are celebrating also Christmas in stifling heat - but we are acclimatised to it by now ... and our Santa arrives in shorts, riding a surfboard - LOL Jeff and I have also done a few house renovations ourselves - it brings a lot of satisfaction and pride, and it's usually two steps forward and one step back :)) keep up the good work and let's see the final result here Dana ...
