Description

According to the Pacifica website, this house was built by the Lippincott family in the 1940's with wood from the property. Not an extraordinary house, but the setting is magnificent. There was art on display in the house the day we went, including some wonderful paintings by a very close friend that I may post a photo of... Please zoom.

very strong contrasts in that deep beautiful blue (the water) and the gold of the landline, the saturated greens of the trees, and those almost oil-glaze or watercolor aqua-blue sky tones. It's layered. The house is sandwiched-in beautifully, and you got real clarity in its design. Given the commonness of house/land/water shots, this is done with real vividness. And the dark tones make it introspective too. Fine work on all levels. (The gold trunks reflected in the water are like glowing spider webs...)
