Description
David N. Sebastian, author of the soon-to-be-completed novel, 'Infinitas', commissioned me to create this map. I always have fun creating maps. They're a nice change of pace and make me think of treasure and adventure.
See if you can guess my favorite map icon. ;D
Blurb:
In a world where the evil dragon sorceress rules supreme, the warrior maiden and dragon slayer come together in an epic journey destined to fulfill the 100 year old Prophesy of Drakon, returning balance and goodness to the land.
Join sixteen year old cousins, Kali and Drake, and their best friends, Ferrah and Harold, in their search for the hidden Pool of Life where the great sword - 'Omar - lies waiting to fulfill it's duty. Tremble, scream out, and laugh along as they encounter all manner of crazy obstacles in their quest to return peace to their world by infiltrating the dragon sorceresses impregnable stronghold, Infinitas, and ending the battle begun by their ancestors 100 years ago.

Very cool work.
Very cool map you've created - either the wavy lines indicating water or else it would have to be the drops of ink that sometimes looks like acorns
I did have fun with the rivers. And I liked the idea of the dots looking like the cartographer just poked the tip his brush to indicate a city; but my favorite icon has to do with my heritage. Some of you may remember me mentioning it once or twice.
This is a really neat map. I have always wanted to be a cartography, and came really close to being one. I was hired by the US Defense Agency after much scrutiny, background and education checking ( I have had a background investigation in the '60s) but unfortunately to get the clearance required for the job (a SCI clearance) all family members have to be US citizens - and my mother and brother were German citizens. But back to your book cover, a map like this would definitely inspire me to read the book. Fantastic and to answer your question as to the Urubamba River could be rafted, a stretch of it, downriver from Aguas Calientes was surveyed that way by a bunch of US students in the 1930s.
forgot to put the giant sitting on the cottage lol just a joke. I like maps also . I looked at a lot of book story maps and even game maps and this one you made is of the top four I seen
cool

Superb map, only miss the sea monster or dragon that used to be on all older maps :) The icon might be one of the castles, only guessing!
