Description
Captured 11/26/14, in the lobby of a beautiful recently constructed medical building in beautiful Los Alamitos, California.
How odd. Either someone stole the seats from the middle of these benches, or it's a space reserved for magazines or property of the occupants.
Arrivederci.

excellent views...sit down please...!!!
Very nice captures of these elegant benches, Harry.
They look terribly uncomfortable. I don't get the design?
Those look like some sort of retro futuristic design. I'd expect to have seen something like this in the 60's. Very cool capture Harry.
Amazing indeed... Fantastic capture once again !!!
My guess is that it's for magazines and personal belongings, but what an odd design it is! Yes, I agree they don't look very comfortable, being backless and all. Strange to choose something like this for a medical facility. I guess they don't expect anyone to actually use them! Great photos of these uninviting benches, Harry!
As subject material, it's a great even humorous subject---it's not 'shot' humorously, but the subject itself is humorous. My guess is with Denise: I think those black sections are for magazines, bags, belongings, because they look very "designed" to me, which would lead me to believe that a customer didn't remove anything. But Harry, what I love about it is your treatment: You have a gentle grain in the wall, which matches the grain in the couches, and the large specks in the floor. And yet it's a very clean shot, very minimal in impact, very ultra-modern. It's very well suited to the subject material. The top shot in particular drives home how oddly "desolate" this waiting area is. It looks like a futuristic airport lobby. Fine work on these, they're very minimalist, and finely suited to the subject. I really like your work here. It's perfect for the subject.
Very modern looking!
