Description
This is the sixth and final image of my spaceship (Mars EXplorer Hermes1). It seems that the more I posted of this project the less interested everyone had become. For all the people that had made comments about my work, thanks for all the encouragement. I will post a picture of this ship in a scene sometime soon so that you can see that all was not wasted in designing the craft just for static purposes. I hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving today for all my friends in the US. For everyone else around the world I hope that you have a excellent Thursday as well as I do not know if this day has any significance to you as it has to us here in the USA.
Cheers,
David

Love your creature! What about create something that crew building a ummm structure shortly after landed on the Mars/Moon? Just curious what you have idea for that one.
Your work is always an inspiration. I must confess, I almost missed this render as it is marked as "art of Boolean", whereas it is, in fact, a full render. I frequently use POV-Ray for my models (which could - if I were good enough - produce a similar model but does not display wire-frame Boolean renders). I've never got the hang of Bryce's method of defining textures and Vue has now become too expensive to keep up with. I'll stick to POV-Ray and Terragen for my pictures.
Excellent creation !!!
Fantastic model. Gorgeous image. Love the reflections! Corrie
Another superb work David. Duncan.
Wonderful progressive sequence from first layout to final render. As a former technical illustrator I still find much beauty and inspiration in highly detailed and intricate mechanicals such as yours. Great job and hope to see more. Have a great turkey day.
Awesome work
Another splendid image and well though-out design. Please know that you have a dedicated following on Renderosity even if we don't comment on every image. I feel like I am the same situation as you as a fellow long-time Renderosity member and SF spaceship artist. Keep the great work coming! :-)
This is incredible and this also gets a favourite from me its simply amazing what you can do in Bryce. Well Done my Friend Karl
Great image! I see the little (relatively) Orion capsule off to the side there. Media keeps calling it a Mars capsule, but it's really just a way to get to from Earth to space and come home for a landing. Your image puts it in proper perspective.
