Description
~ Hatchlings ~ by Adriaan Vanderluigt.
***
A full clutch of one hundred and ten baby turtles, each handcrafted from recycled copper, clamber over the top of each other out of the nest and navigate their way to the water, running a gauntlet of obstacles, that include light pollution, humans, footprints, driftwood, crabs, goannas, seagulls and fish.
It's not a wonder only some become mature 'Green Sea Turtles'.

one lucky last to go, straight after this one ... no need to comment until the last one ;))
