Description
The passageway to the downstairs bedroom occupied by one of my student lodgers, and lined with some of my overflow of books.
The light is from the sinking sun.

Very good image! love the door glass - makes me think of an 8-bit face from an old Atari game. you could have jumped the Alphabet system and called this C for Corridor or D for door or even H for hallway.
Looks quite spookey :o))))
Very dramatic light! The door's face was the first thing I noticed! Excellent capture!
Wonderful lighting on this hallway. Taken at just the right time of day,
Beautiful atmosphere captured !!
Brilliant pic
I will have a look and see if we have an old lamp shade hanging around !!
Fantastic light contrast, creates a special atmosphere. A great shot!!
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Superb catch. Overall cozy feeling until you zoom and then some spooky elements are revealed. The darkened image of a face (mask) through the door on the left. Is he about to strike? A wonderful image that works on several levels.
Very beautiful shot and lovely sunlight. I still remember we had a sun once. lol!
Lots of interesting details but I particularly liked the pattern of the door windows.
Good atmosphere and lighting.
Great timing Andrea. A wonderful shot of the sun's bright light and reflections.
Nice shot looks like your bookcase is overflowing like mine.
fantastic lighting
Very pretty, with the striking lighting from the sun. :)
The light makes even an ordinary hallway something special. Well seen, and I'm so glad you thought to take the picture! It's just my sort of thing. Love it!
I remember the setup very well! Great lighting and a wonderful capture!
Beautiful composition.
Superb capture!
I love the lighting and the three windows in the door.
Such a great mood it makes, Andrea.
I promised I'd make my comments shorter, since you have to sit through so many in my longer sessions. (Chip and I write long comments, but Chip does them in no time at all! I'll never know how he does it, and still writes such wonderful entertaining comments.) Anyway, I'll try, but I can't guarantee anything...A cavern-capture, full of mystery and darkness, and that sunlight burst is amazing, because the shot feels like night, until we see the sunburst. Two rooms---on each side of the shot---with just a portion of them showing, lend a real touch of mystery. And all the objects-in-shadow give intimations of the life of the place. A beautiful restive scene, punctuated by a blast of sun. Beautiful work, Andrea. If you included yourself in a black cape and long fangs, this could pass as Dracula's chambers. (Not how you'd like your place to be known, I realize, but the light is perfect for it. "Goooood Eveninnnnnnng!" With your dogs dressed up as bats or something...)
