Description
I found this heart on an incense cedar in Lithia Park in Ashland. Okay, it was upside down, but that's what the rotate command is for, right?

I fully agree! Excellent capture thanks for sharing this tree's heart! I guess we'd find it's soul in the roots
Wonderful find, the rotation would explain the unexpected lighting! Beautiful capture!!
Absolutely a great capture !!!
I like your thinking :) - great capture!!!
Even trees have hearts !! Super textures.
I can hear that song!
What song?
well spotted !! a heart it is !
I don't know the song either (andrea)! An intense swirling capture, where the reds and hot beiges and yellows make an ocean effect around the heart. The heart---so flat---is such a contrast. And the cracks (in the heart) give it character and almost a face. You are so committed, it just wigs me out. (That's a very hippy expression, but I mean it...) A typical Claude shot, and it's just bristling. And your very strong use of dark shadow makes it an intense visit from an intense friend in a private room of one's home. Beautiful presentation of the power of a tree...
Oh, well seen! Flipping the image was the perfect choice!
Indeed. If we weren't meant to turn things around, they wouldn't provide all those buttons for it! :P This is great.
Ah, ah, excellent find and good idea for the upside down
A really LOVELY heart tree, even though it in reality is upside down :)
Great find! And well realized picture! M.
Cool capture a for me an early Valentines Day photo!
