Description
Taken at Hodge Quarry. Another long wait for a break in the clouds to let the sunlight through! This little stone hut has walls two feet thick! Yet there seems to be an irregular hole ripped out the side? Quarry, explosives, detonators maybe? There are proper windows around the other side anyway.

I like this shot mate, it has a tone mapped feel to it, even if it wasn't mapped.
Just a straight shot with the sun behind me, giving flat light. I'm not keen on tone mapped or HDR stuff because it looks flat and shadowless when some people do it! So I see why you thought this was done that way.
Those clouds don't look like there are too many breaks available! Great timing to get the super light in this shot!
