Oh the dreaded killing of scrapbooks. It is such an issus. Somewhere. I think. Enough of that. This is just plain beautiful. Please let me know where I can purchase some of these fantastic D flowers. This trio would look fantastic anywhere. A+++!

Delightfully delicious daffodils.

This is gorgeous and I have so much catching up to do...you've made it to D and I have yet to get through A, B, and C, as well as stuff before A. These are very elegant. I love the colors and those really nice fireworks patterns that make me think of spin and jiggle stuff. These three panels are also like storybook images, and what's not to like about that? I'm glad that no scrapbooks were harmed during the making of this project, and like you, I've never done scrap-booking, though I've seen some amazing examples. There's an author whose name I can't remember whose book covers have a kind of uber-sophisticated scrapbook feel, but that has nothing to do with this gorgeous image.

AW!! What a beautiful triptych, Tara. I do love the feeling, that the daffodils are floating in a space with little arrows and a pattern like a fractal. Amazingly beautiful :-)

Well, I zoomed, of course, and became transfixed by the D over the red one, which I was certain for a whole minute was doing one of those colour cycling tricks. My sight is pretty dodgy first thing ( and sometimes middle and last thing) but that was really weird! Anyway .. brilliant, and I shall hopefully soon have time to get round to B.

Hey, if you've inspired Andrea to do her B, that's great news! (I'm stuck at E. I got a tale, and that's goin' nowhere too, so keep the feather afloat, we'll all catch up!) I love that, at the 4th letter, you've already broken the mold: You did a triptych! (That's three tychs. I have no idea what a 'tych' is. But back to the image.) One of the delightful things about this is that you have one image as a background---for 3 different flowers. The background---I can't tell, but it looks like some flowers which you've processed to look like fiberglass sculptures or fireworks. Or some geometric sculpture with lots of tentacles. Whatever it is, it makes a wonderful 'fireworks' behind your 3 daffodils. Very intuitive. (I see metal curvy things too, in that background: What ever IS that---it's a wonderful bunch of bursts to have back there.) The three flowers are bursts; you use 3 essential colors---red, blue, yellow---and you have the stamens right in the center, like 3 big beaming creatures looking right at us. And you used TYPEFACES this time. (Yes? In your first 3 it looks like you drew your letters, or played with them. Here you used actual fonts, showcasing different "d"s. That's what this series is all about.) And, with your red, blue and yellow, you have a green tinted border---covering all the big colors. Beautiful! I'm so glad you're keeping up with this. I hope you do them all! (26 uploads---will she make it? Will she peter out at Q? The world awaits!) I love what you've done with this idea! (I just looked up "daffodil," btw, and it comes from the Greek "asphodel". I don't know what you can DO with that information, but I had to tell you. ((I've never met an asphodel, but I hear they're charming.)) The ACTUAL root is "asphodelos". Well that clears THAT up...)

WHAT A FUN SERIES! I haven't been looking on Renderosity lately and there you go off in a totally different direction. Hope you are having a great time doing these as we are having looking at them.
