Description
For some reason it hit me today that you never seem to see any of the superheros retire or getting too old to continue fighting crime. So, I decided to attempt adding a bit of reality to the comics of our youth. I decided to give some thought to Wonder Woman; and what if she got older, had a few children and retired. Given some of today's stats and observations, I went to town to create what time, children, and retirement might have done to the once voluptuous heroine.
Now imagine the surprise photos on the evening TV tabloids, or on the cover of some gossip magazine on the supermarket racks.
Now imagine the headlines.... Wonder what ever happened to Wonder Woman? Our photographers caught her at the fast court in the mall lassoing a couple burgers and a shake. As you can see, it doesn't look like she's going to be chasing down any criminals any time soon. Reports were that she barely was able to catch her breath by the time she reached her SUV and sped away.
That's the concept I shot for.

OMG, what has time and dissipation done to my favorite comic book heroine? Has she no pride? Her once elegant Amazon body has gone to pot, and her expression reflects that of one who has lost all interest in elegance and self esteem. She looks like hasn't slept for a while and is possibly on drugs. In any event, a top notch job on this both fabulous and depressing concept.

But... Does she have an invisible SUV? I remember her invisible airplane on Super Friends. At the time I thought, it may be transparent, but, um, I can still see it. Just remember that even if she's a bit softer, she's still Wonder Woman! Great idea and composition.
