Heckuvan artist and one heckuva person. I still have the hand carved fisherman on a horse that his dad made on my mantel to remind me of him. Sure wish I'd been able to visit him and his wife in person back then... Rick

Time flies, memories of a fine human being stay .. I still come and look at Dirk's art, and I am still blown away by the beauty he created. He was a courageous person, choosing his own time and way to leave. May his spirit feel joy and freedom. He is still missed.
