Description
These pelicans are part of a large group that live at my local beach. For totally wild animals, they sure are friendly and relaxed. Whilst I don't think they would let me touch them, I can easily walk right up to them and have a chat. I say 'Hello Pellie Bellies'....and they look at me like I'm INSANE!
Taken the afternoon.

If anyone can score a goal Peli can!! Nice shot Andrew and I wouldn't call you insane!!!
What a delight! I can imagine having a long chat with them!
Another nice shot.
Great capture Andrew
I love these guys! I wish we had them in this area; I think they may, at the coast, but I'm more inland, and I've never seen them on the lakes here. Love the expression on the one on the left!
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
Great p-cans.
Very nice attitude in this great capture !!!
Lovely shot mate, nice to see them in the wild.. Sorry to hear they seem to have gone PC mad in your museums as well.. At the IWM, they seem to have removed anything that goes bang! (Except to do with WW1), and anything to do with the Germans (except for a V2 !?).. Its now full of buttons, and screens, shiny bits and open rooms with nothing in.. Sad as I have been there many times and spent many hours browsing.. Rob
It looks like Mr & Mrs Pellie like you Andrew. A really nice close-up!
