Description
Last week I posted "The (self)-blame game" only to realize it was a duplicate of a prior post. I deleted it (and missed any comments people posted because i mistakenly thought I had deleted it soon enough that no one saw it). I decided to re-post it with a continuation of that thought (and with the hope of getting to see the comments I missed before).
The (self)-blame game leads us to take blame not meant for us, and so pulls us down, often into despair where the world turns from one of the color of possibilities and bends it toward the greys of depression.
Though it was a different cause for his depression, since I am on the topic of depression I thought it also (belatedly) fitting to express my sadness that depression (and an impending serious illness) claimed the life of the big heart and humorous wit of Robin Williams. The world is a much better place having had him in it!

I agree with your sentiment... And yes, depression is nothing to laugh or sneeze about. Every one at one point in their life, suffer from the self-blame malady.
Been there, done that. The hardest part is getting out of that thought. Corrie
The saddest thing with depression is that you can take a long time hauling yourself out of it only for some small deed or word to drop you right back in it. I agree with your sentiment about Robin Williams. There are far too few of his ilk around.
