Description
thank you for stopping in my friends and visitors, hope your week is going well.
here is a few shots of our colorado balloon classic, most likely our last here, seems the city and balloonists are having a issue on things. most likely all about MONEY! it's a shame because the classic has been here for 20 yrs or more and always on labor day weekend for the three day event. no more water skimmings and nightglows and take offs from our local park. i will have a few more to share, i only took about a dozen shots. i only have a camera phone right now and not liking the quality of them. i used to have a great 35 mm Nikon SLR. but still hope you enjoy these shots and series.

cool
the balloonists did not pay the right politician under the table. very good collage
Exceptional photos...
Really great shots of these balloons, Steve! Especially considering you took them with a phone camera. Too bad about the issues, though... It's always about money, it seems... Hope they get things worked out before next year.
Superb blue shot on the right Steve !!!
So beautiful collage and captures, looks fantastic,my friend*******
I love the shot inside the blue balloon - isn't money what it is all about - these days you can spell America - GREED!
I would duct tape an E-Dog to the bottom of one of those hot air balloons with a go-cam and record the sweet view! Maybe turn it into a new hit reality tv show... ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3UrLMWWHvA
These are great shots :) It looks like a fun event to go to :) Hopefully it's not the last year...But one thing we all know...that money and greed is the root of all evil and unfortunately good people like yourself will have to miss out ...gonna stop rambling now :)
That is a stunning view to see so many balloons at once!
Those are some very cool photoshots Steve.
Fine work on this!
fabulous captures
Oh sooo dreamy! i would love to try to fly in one of those! Gorgeous shot dear friend. The camera is just as good as the photographer. Your talent will make great photos even with a vintage camera!
Must have been a great event again! So sad that the lust for money can destroy so many cool things!!!
Excellent shots, looks like a fantastic event!
Looks like a great day out
Great shots!
Great colours
Hot air balloons are great!
Very nice photos....I likey!! Nice one Steve!!
I went to an evening balloon-fest in N. Colorado once. The balloons were quite a sight to see, all lit up at night. Shame about the greed-factor. Nice shots though.
these look great, they are colorful and fun, air balloons are so cool!
Powerful capture!
Excellent shot.
