I like the pose and subject matter very much but I think you need a bit of work on the lighting. Too often with soft lights, everything kinda blends together. She fades into the background in spite of her red blouse and striped leggings. You need her to "pop" a little.
Thanks for the pointers. Too often, lighting seems to be my major obstacle.
