Nice capture!!!!!!!!!
I like this shot Andrea! So much character in that face, I bet he has some tales to tell, matter of fact I think I'll visit your links :)
Super portrait Andrea :)
A wonderful portrait Andrea, you and your camera are so good at these. I copied off the portraits you did of us the other day and Joan loves hers with the glasses on. I did them A5 and she has put hers in a silver frame !!
A well featured face makes for a great capture. A bit like mine lol 😊 . Mick
Quite good portrait :)
Amazing capture. I visited his website and enjoyed reading his biography and enjoyed his photography as well. God bless.
He looks a kindly gentleman!!!
Very great portrait !!!
Very great portrait !
Very interesting character Great portrait
A superb image of a fantastic face. A teacher at Hogwarts perhaps. I also like the mono. It enhances the character lines.
Thanks for the links! I thoroughly enjoyed reading about his life and how he got into wood as a medium. Such an interesting fellow! Long may he turn! :)
I like the color version best - less "details" than the mono version. I checked out Peter's work from the link you supplied. I was afraid to show JO the 3 carved balls, we have a new entertainment center and plenty of empty shelves. Spectacular workmanship.
wonderful portrait; I like the softness and the colors of this one
Great portrait but the colour version works best.
Without yet reading about this gentleman, you have captured him so well, the B&W version adds an additional aspect to the shot.. I would think of him in some costal village inn wearing heavy knitted wool jumper with a cap on playing an accordion and singing sea shanties. Great character
A sterling pose from a characterful face!
Love those laugh wrinkles, he does look kindly. Great portrait!
Lovely portrait of this personable gentleman.
