Description
This is a partial view of the rigging of the 'Cutty Sark', a British clipper built on the Clyde in 1869 for the Jock Willis Shipping Line. She was one of the last tea clippers to be built, and one of the fastest.
The 'Cutty Sark' is one of three historic sea vessels in London on the Core Collection of the National Historic Ships Register.

Great view, outstanding capture!
Great perspective, and a nice sky to back it up! I remember building a model of her many years ago!

An amazing capture right up into the riggings. One of my favorite Revell plastic model kits. It took forever to finish it!

A very famous ship.. And a very good capture! Well shown, full of details. Rob
I've always been a fan of rigging. It's what makes a ship what it is. it's always nice to see good rigging on model ships too.
The Cutty Sark! I knew she at once, even from the thumbnail... I visited her when I was in England... To walk on such a ship is breath taking! I'm not an expert in ships sails and such, but the Cutty Sark is in my heart... I felt sick when I heard it was damaged some time ago, and I'm so glad I see her now, and that she's in her place again... Great picture, by the way...
