Description
I suppose we associate that cute head tilt with a kitten or puppy when they look at you with extreme curiosity. And it's ever so cute when a bird looks at you with that head tilted to one side with same curiosity as you point your lens at him. :) This was taken a couple of weeks ago. Detail much better in zoom view.
Junior is doing very well now. He flies among trees all over our neighborhood. He was crying pitifully in my pecan tree this afternoon, calling "Mama, come feed me!!" After some time, he saw a bug fly by and flew off to catch it, landed in the neighbor's tree and ate the meal he caught all on his very own. He's coming along very nicely developmentally.
Thanks so much for your recent comments, views, and faves. :)

How very different.
Such a success! I love the expression!
I do believe that the head tilt is a "curiosity" thing. It may be you, something that you are wearing or even something that caught his curiosity on your camera. This is a spectacular capture and I always zoom because something in the zoom software does enhance most of the original photos.
Superb shot and that is certainly a very cute look it's giving you. If you were a man it would be looking at your flies !! Lol.
Superb capture Maria. God bless.
A very handsome bird (hawk?)! A joy to have him hanging around I bet, a great pose and capture!
Captured at the right moment. Excellent. Aloha
My Jazz does this when I ask him what do you want. Fantastic shot and record of Junior's development Tex.
OH So cute he is now. A brilliant shot indeed. Thanks for the story too :)
Fantastic shot !!!
What a catch.... excellent photo.
awesome capture
Nice capture of whatever type of avian that is supposed to represent, Maria. You're most fortunate to have such a wide variety of them in your backyard to photograph. And, it is amusing to see a bird tilt its head like that.
Very nice capture. Well done.
Excellent capture. He's really curious about you.
He really is growing up, and what a great pose you captured! I love that look, and it seems he must be getting to realize you're "family" and not going to pose any threat to him. Love this shot!
Excellent cute capture! love it.
Hello Maria, its taking a while for me to catch up, but l am getting there. Always enjoy your work. Mick
