Description
I believe a maintenance and utility building, captured 6/2/12, on the vast grounds of an international construction company headquarters, about 1.5 miles from home.
Since it was so overcast that morning, I deliberately and liberally enhanced the green in this photo.
ZOOM worthy.
Cheerio.

superb camouflage service building !!! nice picture !!!
Fantastic !!! Very great capture my friend !!!
I do like the ivy covering; I guess they have to keep the door pruned or lose access to the building, eh? WOnderful shot and postwork, Harry!
I've never seen so much ivy on a building before, Harry.
did a good job
amazing find and shot!
Strange building interesting capture. I'd be happy to send you some of the rain battering on my windows as I write!
Very cool image and capture. Unique and very interesting.
We have a few of ivy covered buildings here, in Italy, but this one is completely green!
Ha! It certainly is, thats for sure.. Great way to hide it! Rob
In my desire to capture a full sampling of your work, I had to include this. I love that you put shots like this in your gallery. From some of the comments above, this is a most unusual sight to some people. Well, I've seen several of these, so I know the 'look': But bravo for working on it and posting it, it makes a big stark ivy-laden presence, esp as there's almost nothing else around it to balance it out. Your pov makes it a green monolithic beast; a 'mystery-presence'---mysterious not only because it has no face, but for that door, but because it's awfully 'cuddly' for a monolithic beast. (Cuddly because of the vines, that is.) (A story: Chicago's Wrigley Field, home of the Cubs, has ivy all over the outfield walls: Fans sometimes say, "it must be nice to run into those walls---they must be really soft!" Well, one player said: "People? IT AIN'T SOFT! That's BRICK out there! You run into that, and WHAM! You FEEL it!!!" So I'm sure this building isn't any fun to run into...) Good postwork too---in a shot as monolithic as this, if the light is poor, the shot can die before it gets out of the camera. You brought it to light without making it artificial in any way. (If you hadn't told us, I'd not have known---the greens are real.) Also, such a stark sky to set off all that green. This makes perfect contrast to your rich flowers, Renaissance Faire shots, etc. Happy to see it have its place in the sun.
