Description
....and a bobcat in the clouds .
I have returned from Arizona. It was fantastic down there. Lots of moody skies, and opportunities to snap some of my most favorite landscapes! I had almost given up trying to get an "end of the day" shot with the bright glaring sun making difficult for me to get a good exposure. Then the monsoons came and the skies were awesome. All I had to do was point and shoot :)
When I took this photo, I was in the house, and walked past the back windows to take a peek at the peak :) and WOWZA, the mountain was glowing. I had my phone in my hand and took a quick picture through the window, and this is what I got. I did grab my camera and run outside, but I wasn't in time to capture it. I was facing east, and the sun is setting, and a storm was brewing , creating all the awesomeness.
I might go ahead and continue with some Arizona photos and get back to the West Coast later.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!
Hugs,
~Melinda~

very nice capture. this is your back yard? very cool!
Excellent Melinda, and one might add welcome home. Investigate ND filters (Neutral density) Both solid type or grads (Graduated) A simple ND8 will give you 3 stops of light for when it is too bright.
Amazing capture Melinda. God bless.
These amazing shots are so fleeting, it's all a matter of luck and timing. You got a great one here, beautiful!
I don't see a rainbow, Melinda, but a fine mountain range against the sky capture anyway.
Beautiful! I like the ocotillo as a bit of foreground to the mountain.
Fantastic landscape !!!
Great lighting on Fire Mountain!
