Description
Christchurch Harbour from the road outside the visitor centre.
I posted another about 10th July, but I like the placing of the boats in this one.
The cliffs at Highcliff beyond are mercifully not ruined by high rise flats.
Zoom essential!

wonderful panoramic view; you're right..it would be a shame when this view was disturbed by all these touristic buildings and high towers
Great view Andrea. wonderful capture - though I had to look very close to see the geese swimming on the water
Wonderful scene Andrea
Lovely coastal vista Andrea.
Great scene, hope they don't build, you know what they are like!!!!
This shot demands a zoom viewing, it's very interesting, these kinds of shots can be very challenging... you have done so well here.
What a lovely view. There are alot of swans there. Interesting place.
A super zoom and a great shot Andrea.
This looks a bit like Norway, with the houses. It's an magnificent photo, and really has to be seen on zoom. Bravo, Andrea.
I love this one, and the light is amazing; well done!
Lots of birds...Swans? Aloha
I like all of the boat traffic in this version and have to ask if those are all swans?
Ugh, you English are such barbarians. Just look at all that wasted open space and open sky. In America, if there is an open space someone wants to build on it, farm it or dig something out of it and leave the cleanup for someone else. Not so long ago a developer wanted to build a megastore next to the Gettysburg Battlefield which is our most famous and sacred spot from our civil war. Now that's civilization! I must admit though that this is a very pleasant scene. A perfect image for imagining a leisurely summer day boating or feeding the birds or just sitting and reading Fifty Shades of Grey.
That view looks familiar.
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
