Description
I Ihave a friend staying who is a fan of Charlotte Bronte's novels. So.. to Haworth to visit the Bronte museum..well worth a visit. I did like the simplicity of this old doorway of a modest house.. The date is obvious but the builders left their initials carved.

I loved Haweth, and would dearly love another go at photographing in and around there. This is lovely!!
i used to go when i worked for a while on the Oldham chronicle, i too love the simplicity of this
A nice find and a nice image, the two were probably brothers.
Very interesting documentation and fine image !!
I love this!
this is so beautiful Great capture
I never heard of Haweth/Haworth, but this is one excellent capture of the antiquated doorway and door, Jean. And unless the date is 61, then it isn't obvious to me….1671 perhaps?
Great capture !!!
marvellous picture
Very great shot !
