Description
A view of Yellowstone Lake from the Pelican Creek nature trail. Yellowstone Lake covers 136 square miles & is the largest freshwater lake above 7,000 feet in elevation in North America (& second largest in the world next to Lake Titicaca in South America). We only spent a short time in this section of Yellowstone as the mosquitoes were out & we found this the least interesting part of the park (fishermen & boaters might disagree though)...
