Impenetrable ! But the colours both subtle and rich.
Very cool capture love the greens
This image is beautiful, crisp and clear Bill, a very nice shot indeed.
I see trolls (foreground, covered with yellow moss), huldra (hiding behind trees center left background) and other readfull woodland denizens! Thick forest, yes. And full of mystery. And frightening at night. t's amazing there is still such virgin forest in the world today, considering all human incursions in nature. Thanks for showing us this! Very well caught "on film". (Huldra - female woods denizen, very beautiful, but with a hollow back. Lures humans to get lost in the woods chasing her. In some Scandinavian traditions she lets her victim catch up and hug her, whereupon she kills the victim)
I'm beginning to think that moss is nature's blanket for everything up your way. Wonderful textures and colors. I'll bet the air smelled great.
This is lovely Bill. I can't help but imagine a Sasquatch hiding in there somewhere..................
Cool & serene scene....
OH Yes, that looks indeed enchanded, that forest. Wonderful moss and stunks. :-)
This is so crisp Bill, nice one mate!
Fabulous capture Bill. xx
Great clarity and ambience in this pic, Bill, but I hope you brought a machete along with your camera when you ventured into this prehistoric milieu. Plus a velociraptor behind every tree.
That moss is stunning! Wow!
This has such a wonderful, primeval look - I can just imagine seeing a T-rex moving through those trees. Beautiful capture, Bill!
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
Very nice capture Bill. I like the different colors very much.
Moss covered boulders and evergreen trees are the best! :) Makes me wonder why we go anywhere ... :P
