Description
Captured 5/3/14, very early morning, in front of a local lawn maintenance equipment store. I have another shot of this dude, a closeup taken weeks earlier, lingering somewhere in my capacious files.
ZOOM worthy.
Arrivederci.

I guess they're advertising the safety gear that can be rented along with the equipment? What a cool idea, sort of a scarecrow for roadworkers! Great shots, Harry, very well done!
Someone was truly beyond creative in coming up with this guy, Harry.
held a very impressive safety illustrated by two beautiful photos here! awesome series !!!
I bet he turned many drivers' heads! lol Great capture~
I just had to include this---it's such a wild inexplicable shot. Inexplicable because you caught the "whaaaa???" feeling of it, partly because the robot is so funny and strange, standing there on the street; and partly because your 2 pov's capture the crazy music of the sight with wild angles and odd juxtapositions. That's esp the case in the top shot. (You lined-up the robot with the arch and pillars and a post, very well.) The shadows add another layer of counterpoint. And the bottom shot shows the robot rearing back juuuuust a bit, as if to say, "am I here? who the hell are you?" Wonderful and witty pair of shots, and I love the angles and juxtapositions. I have a ton of faire shots to do, and I feel guilty not doing one yet, but I don't want to neglect shots like these---they're a joy.
