Description
Captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California.
ZOOM worthy.
I'm not sure what the problem was in the first photo. It seems the girls in the back were lacing up the wench's corset or something to that effect. Whatever it was, it got the court jester and Snow White to smile. The bottom shot shows the beauty - apparently not exactly a youngster - giving me a loving grin.
Allaismalardik.

Beautiful capture of the party spirit !!
It actually looks like the wicked witch from Snow White! excellent shots and comments !!!
I remember a jealous, vain and wicked queen from Snow White, but not a witch, per se. Maybe you're thinking of The Wizard of Oz.
A merry maid indeed; yes, it seems in the first shot that her infrastructure has gone awry and requires some adjustment. She does look like she's been the belle of many parties over the years! Excellent shots, Harry, and I'm afraid that her smile may have more to do with her beverage than any love she might be feeling!
Looks like she is having a great time there, Harry.
Love that character !
Cool cool captures!
look like alot of funning going on
And it looks like she has been merry all her life lol Neat shots dude! Rob
Re the Snow White reference, above, I remember the wicked queen from Snow White to be anything but jovial and smiling: This lady definitely wouldn't fit the part. And re Denise's comment, it does look like she's being straightened out by her coterie. It's a really fun street shot, because it has that crazy spontaneity that fine street shooting has, but it also has real cogence---because her helpmates are all concentration, as they fix the back of her blouse and outfit. And nice smiles on her and the lady next to her (and the man next to her too---the jester?). A fine crowd shot, with the main lady having a great time despite her being fixed up... The bottom (next) pic is a fine portrait in its own right. A woman with a heavy costume---that vest she's wearing has to be heavy and hot and constricting---and heavy makeup: Yet she smiles without a care. A really fine face capture, Harry, with all her makeup and fake 'paint' (a word they sometimes used for makeup in the Renaissance), and a very knowing smile. And the detail of her dyed bangs and that crown of leaves or feathers is wonderful. (I think they're feathers.) With all that Renaissance garb---or old garb at least---she's drinking a Bud Light in a plastic cup! Lol---that's real street shooting: You didn't see too much of that in 1580. (You didn't see Lady Macbeth shout, "Out, out, damned spot---now gimme a Bud!") More fine portraiture from you. And you got in close. Man, I've NEVER gotten so much cooperation, not once. You got the trust of these people again and again---it just never stops in this series!
