Description
I prefer just to say "Bumble Bee on a Thistle".
The title is the name of the plant btw.
Haven't tried it yet but this will probably zoom!

Superb capture my friend. God bless.
I agree with you. Much easier with that title :-) Wonderful shot. Love the gorgeous color on the thistle :)
Superb photo! I have this plant, and unbelievably the slugs will even eat this!
Did you actually know, that you can eat Thistles? - not only slugs like them well, a little birdie told me so ... even Donkeys do eat them ;)) absolutely stunning colour!

Superb capture !!!
Gorgeous pic Jeff
Fantastic details and wonderful colours. Excellent shot Jeff.
Great color and camera angle! Beautiful work!
Tack sharp details here!
It zooms quite well. I wondered what these were. Wonderful capture of this beautiful flower. The closed flowers at lower right look like artichokes. Cris Crowder who writes the gardening column for the Lancashire Telegraph hates thistles but he likes these: http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/leisure/gardening/9074463.Flowers_of_thistle_Cirsium_rivulare_Atropurpureum_will_earn_their_place_in_your_border/
A beautiful zoom to check out the thistle bloom!
power pink and an impressive flower! ;o)
Bees are safe in town (no toxic).
I'll go with thistle and bumble bee,It's great in zoom the bees a bit soft but heck you can't have everything.
Fantastic colours you've caught Jeff! Very good capture once more.. Rob
What beautiful deep pink color this thistle has, Jeff. And I love the sharp contours of the flower and leaf against the sky, so a super POV too. btw, Thank you so much for always your nice comments, my friend. I've looked for the small heath butterfly, it indeed is much similar to the meadow brown, but because I know how 'my' butterfly looks with open wings, I'm sure that I don't have to change the name, Jeff. Thank you for your effort, I appreciate it very much.
