Description
Tara (auntietk) standing in Jackson Park with St. Louis Cathedral as a magnificent backdrop. Oh, and yes, this is in the Old French Quarter of New Orleans.
Several folks have been wondering about the red shirt and black hat...here it is:)

Very nicely done Bill and the background is very symmetrical.
Hehe! Even with this treatment Tara is less conspicuous than I had thought.
Well done Bill!
Amazing capture Bill. God bless
Great photo Bill!
Nice shot of the auntie in the famous red shirt. And a great bit of PP on this mate.
Nice work.
Clever, love the background. x
Nice, balanced symmetrical photo which brings out Tara even without the red. This area seems to have been above water during hurricane Katrina. Keep up the good work. These colored black/white photos are interesting. And remind me of the old hand colored post cards from a century ago! :-)
Great creative postwork, Bill!! Perfect way to illustrate Tara's stories about the red shirt and the black and white shows the beautiful cathedral off so well. Wish I was back there again, what a great place that was - though I wonder how much different the place is now after the hurricanes in recent years.
Yes, and she looks quite nice in that outfit :-) muvh better than she made me think LOL ! OH, and the whole shot is really beautifully done !
Not conspicuous at all......... :-P Tara looks just lovely in red! She does stand out, especially with everything else being monochrome! LOL Nice one, Bill! This really is gorgeous!
I didn't realize I was wearing bandoleros! LOL! The bag and camera strap make me look like some sort of suburban bandit. :P Thanks for illustrating my story, hon! :)
Very nice work Bill.
Very nicely done.
What a perfect piece to showcase the cathedral and the lovely missus too! Great postwork!
Magnificent shot, Bill.
She looks fantastic Great capture
auntietk gotten the spirit of been a pirate lol. just jokeing. i knew this was New Orleans. The french quart was overseen by a woman and she checked the work done every day and if it was not good work she kicked it down. She did good and the buildings still stands. as this church. check out the history who overseen this place.
Marvelous place !
Wonderfully done! I know a lot of us were wondering what Tara actually looked like in the black floppy hat and red shirt she mentioned. After seeing this photo, I'm sure she fit in just fine (unless, of course, everything else REALLY WAS black-and-white! :) Excellent work here!
Neat work Bill, I know this place, I have seen it in many movies.. You've captured it well and great postwork Rob
Well I can see why Tara didn't blend in. I like her comment. We will have to start calling her La proscrita fotógrafa. Great capture of this magnificent church.
Lot of souvenirs :)
hehe, so you can't loose her :-) perfect clear photo, great architecture and angle!
