Here is my oc, "Racer-Girl" enjoying the off-season of the intergalactic racing circuit on some remote tropical beach on some secluded planet in the galaxy. ;-)

Nice job!!! Not sure I'd like this babe scratching my back, though! Keep a little better track of your shadows. The shadows on the girl are opposite the shadows on the tree behind her. Try varying the tonal quality of your pieces so they aren't quite so flat. ...unless that's what you're shooting for. Then it's great!!! :)
Go to DigitalArtTutorials.com Brian Haberlin's site and there are a couple of free tutorials that might help you out. The tutorials you pay for are amazing and very helpful. ...but Free is really good!!! :)
Thanks for the link for the tutorials. I'll check it out. I just use PS filters for the shadows and can never seem to get them to go in different directions, they always link to go in the same way. I'm not really good at doing tonal variations, so yeah, I just leave my coloring mostly flat with some textures to make things pop that way. It works for me. :-)
Just updated it with better shadows, as I figured out how to change the angles in the layers and added in some inner shadows as well as drop shadows to improve it so that it doesn't look as "flat" and a bit more "natural" even though it's still a cartoon image. :-)
