What's a Bryce artist to do every now and then? Yes, of course silly! It's time to make a castle... Anyhow, this is my little rendition.

this is really a sharp image, really like this, try playing with the terrain editor and get more of a complicated mat for the mountians to add realism and the trees look a little monocolored, but wow, all comes with time though, really like this and keep up the great work !!!!!!! j
Thanks guys... If I remember right, I was showing a friend the simplicity and power of Bryce booleans when I created this. The towers are pretty much the same grouping multireplicated and the walls cylinders. Materials were actually defaults with some scaling adjustment, although not quite perfect. The trees are replicated copies of the 2D bryce one, used simply because it renders fast and makes a good fill for wooded areas (looking back, I think I should have used more.) The mountains and cloudplane were then added for that extra ambience. I'm glad you like it. I had fun making it.
Most excellent castle, I would have made the wall texture for the whole castle the same scale as the towers, but that's just me. The structure is awesome!! The composition and landscape is wonderful!!!
